What is a phookit anyway?

A phookit is a small, friendly toolkit. This one belongs to Paul, who likes C++, CMake, cameras and building things that make websites less of a chore.

The plan

1. A framework that bakes in the legal stuff (cookies, GDPR, terms), accounts, blogs, galleries, comments and reactions, and can be installed on a server with one command.
2. A visual editor at wysiwyg.phookit.co.uk so anyone can lay out a site on desktop, tablet and mobile without touching CSS.
3. A tech blog at phookit.com to write it all down.

Open by default

The framework is MIT licensed. Sites built with it are yours: download them, put them in git, host them anywhere.
